We are happy to open registration with the intention of running a season similar to our traditional ringette season. Due to COVID, however, there are some important differences to the registration process.
We are asking all Whitby players to register with Whitby, regardless of your intention to try out for placement on a team level not offered in the association. In order to participate in try outs all players must be registered with Ringette Ontario for insurance purposes. If you are selected to a team outside of Whitby, registration will be completed with that association.
A $400 deposit will be required upon registration. E-transfer firstname.lastname@example.org. Once team formation is finalized, the remainder of the deposit will be due. Registration will not be considered complete until the balance of the fees are received. Players who are selected for a team outside of Whitby will have these funds transferred to that association.
At this point, our fee schedule is as described below. This is based on the practice and game schedule we have had during a regular season. These fees are tentative and may change before the beginning of the season. If conditions change and less programming is offered, fees may be reduced to reflect the changing conditions. At this time we are unable to provide information about practice nights or a date for the beginning of the season. Tryouts will not begin before September 1.

**Children's ringette programming is still being finalized. For more information about Children's Ringette visit Ringette Ontario Children's Ringette. Skaters will be grouped according to experience and skill level. Group composition will change as needed.
New player discount of $100 will be applied to final fees.
Goalie discount - 50% fee reduction will be applied to all goalies U12 and above who play a minimum of half games and practices in the goalie position.
Initial Deposit is 100% refundable if the program WRA offers isn't acceptable. After final costs are determined and paid, the regular WRA Refund Policy below will apply.
Refunds will only be given with written requests. Please submit your request by email to the email@example.com. Please allow approximately 3 weeks for processing from time of notification. Amounts paid by cheque will be delayed until cheque clears the bank.
Registration refunds will be 80% of the registration fees paid, minus a $40 WRA administration fee up until October 1st. Refunds thereafter will be at 50% of the registration fees paid, minus a $40 WRA administration fee up until January 1st. After January 1st no refunds will be given.
