2010/2011 Ringette Registration After several meetings, and with the recommendation of the Operations Committee proposed by WMHA and WRA, the Town of Whitby elected officials voted and passed that there would be no fee increase (2.5%) implemented for the period of April 1st, 2010 to March 31, 2011. However, on July 1st the Province of Ontario is implementing the HST sales tax. Currently we pay 5% GST on all ice rentals and with the implementation of the HST that will increse to 13%. The Town of Whitby is lobbying our Provincial Government on our behalf and Whitby Ringette is also currently doing what they can in the way of letters to members to our provincial government. Unfortunately due to the implementation of the HST our fees have increased for the 2010/2011 season. Whitby ringette has ice time on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Saturday mornings and Sunday afternoons. Click on "fees" for information on the 2009/2010 fees and age group information. Online registration is available. For any other questions, please send us an email using the "contact us" tab. Online Registration is now being provided by the same company that supplies these services to Whitby Minor Hockey and Whitby Minor Baseball. Login to register for ringette with the same user id and password that you used for hockey or baseball. If you did not register for hockey or baseball with their new system, get started by selecting the "Click Here To Get One" link on the Get an MSi Account section of the Registration Login Page. This account should be used to register for ringette this and next year as well as if you register with the WMHA or WMBA. For questions, please check this out.
